Lytham St Annes Spitfire is proud to offer a collection of aviation artwork by the late Barry Wallond. Barry created and operated Spitfire Corner in Cornwall, as well as being a prolific aviation artist. His artwork is collectable and popular not just among aviation enthusiasts. Here we offer just a selection of his artistry in the form of post cards which bear his name.
Spitfires fought in almost every Theatre of the WW2 Conflict and continued its Service with Air Forces across the World into the 1950’s. This collection of overseas Spitfires highlight the flexibility of the World’s most recognisable fighter aircraft.
